Inspect fading flowers and damaged leaves for spreading brown areas and gray fuzzy growth, especially in cool, damp conditions. Other kinds of decay can look similar.
What to do
Remove affected flowers and leaves carefully, clean away fallen material and improve airflow. Water the soil rather than wetting the foliage, and monitor nearby healthy growth.
